Prosciutto di San Daniele is a delicate ham from the north of Italy and dates back to Roman times. To bear the San Daniele designation, the entire production of the ham must meet strict requirements. Italian pig breeds are used, all kept in regions in Northern Italy. The selection of these pigs and an age-old method create the soft taste with sweet hints.
