Wild boar is a nice alternative to deer. The wild boar supplied by HANOS mainly comes from the Veluwe, but some supply also comes from Limburg. The wild boar from HANOS comes from areas where there is enough food for the animals. In barren areas, wild boars are usually lean and therefore of lesser quality. This wild boar fillet has a nice layer of fat and is deliciously tender in texture and quick to prepare. Delicious with various robustly flavored sauces.
