Sea oakweed is a brown to greenish seaweed of sturdy plants that are about 50 cm tall. The leaves are about 2 cm wide. The seaweed has a mild, nutty, and salty-sweet taste and pairs well with soy sauce and green vegetables. The seaweed can also be dried and ground to season meat with it.
