This organic goat cheese is made from 100% fresh raw milk from the Saanen goat. The cheese has matured for at least 90 days. The raw goat milk is thermised for preparation. Thermisation is a mild form of pasteurisation. Due to the method of preparation, all the characteristic properties of the milk are preserved. No further ingredients are added. During maturation, the cheese develops a natural and edible rind. Rest, the cultures used, and the maturation time influence the rich flavor. The cheese is vegetarian rennet and lactose-free. Meester-Affineurs has the Certified Regional Product label. This label is awarded to regional products with a guaranteed origin and added value for the region.
