Doorly's is produced at the Foursquare Rum Distillery in Barbados and is named after its founder: Martin Doorly. Since its inception in 1920, Doorly's has been one of the island's oldest rum brands. The Foursquare Distillery is one of the few independent family distilleries in the Caribbean. Originally established in 1720, the distillery was revitalized in 1996 by the Seale family and has since been regarded as one of the world's leading rum distilleries. The distillery has been named 'Rum Distillery of the World' seven times.
Doorly's XO demonstrates what rum can offer without added sugars. This accessible and balanced rum from Barbados is aged for five years in American ex-bourbon casks and three years in Oloroso sherry casks, which adds extra complexity. The result delivers balanced aromas and flavors of orange peel, raisins, and butterscotch, enriched with notes of licorice and a subtle hint of anise. The finish is dry, nutty, and pleasantly warm.
