The aged rum Planteray Barbados 5 Years is a carefully crafted blend of rum originating from Barbados, often considered the historical birthplace of rum. After an initial aging in the tropical climate of the island, in barrels that previously held Bourbon, this rum continues its maturation in France, at Château de Bonbonnet. There, it is refined in small Ferrand barrels under the expert supervision of the cellar master.
