Xaymaca Special Dry is a blend of 100% pot still aged rums from two of the famed Jamaican distilleries, Long Pond & Clarendon. These historic rum producers are known for the fruity funk of their marks and their pungent intense complexity. Xaymaca Special Dry is distilled in double retort pot stills, giving high concentrations of fruity and aromatic elements that are then honed over the double ageing process. First these rums are aged in Jamaica before being sailed by sea in their cask to the southwest of France for a second maturation in ex-Ferrand Casks. Xaymaca Special Dry is a sipping rum full of character and versatility. Dry with floral and fruity funk notes with just a hint of smokiness. Best enjoyed neat, in a classic Mai Tai or in a highball style serve.
