Koch Elemental is an artisanal joven mezcal from Oaxaca, Mexico, made from 100% Espadín agave harvested after 7 to 9 years. This mezcal is traditionally produced using underground wood-fired ovens, a stone tahona, and natural fermentation in wooden vats, followed by double distillation in copper stills. The result is a clear spirit with a refined nose of smoke, citrus, spices, and tropical fruit. On the palate, notes of coconut, vanilla, coffee, and yellow bell pepper, with a creamy texture and a soft, long finish. Koch Elemental combines rich tradition with sustainable production and is perfect to enjoy neat or as a characterful base for cocktails.
