An age-old elixir of thirteen herbs, berries, and roots gathered from the hills of Piedmont inspired Amaro Gentile. Each variety gives the product a unique character and imparts traditional aromatic, flavor, and digestive properties. Some of the herbs are macerated for twelve months in Grappa di Moscato Invecchiata, while the rest are infused in alcohol together with orange and lemon peel. Sage, marjoram, gentian root, and even thyme are recognizable. Amaro Gentile, a valued digestif, can also be enjoyed as an aperitif served over ice, optionally with mint and lemon peel.
