Tullamore D.E.W is a triple-distilled, triple-blended Irish whiskey. The use of the three types of whiskey provides a uniquely complex flavor. The soft floral notes come from the grain whiskey used, the soft spicy notes come from the pot still whiskey, and the citrus notes come from the malt whiskey. The sherry and bourbon casks ultimately give the whiskey a nutty, almost marzipan-like touch.
