Grappa Julia is one of the historically important players in the Italian grappa market, which is characterized by a high degree of fragmentation and a vast range of different brands. Grappa Julia Invecchiata is also made from grape skins and seeds that remain after pressing grapes for winemaking, but it ages in oak barrels and is therefore more complex and richer than the Superiore. It is drunk neat as a digestif after dessert or in coffee after the meal.
