This wine comes from Roussillon, between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea. The grenache, mourvèdre, and cabernet sauvignon grapes come from 60-year-old vines, which provide intense and complex flavors. Aspicata ages for six months in new oak barrels and then another twelve months in large, older barrels. Pairs well with roasted meats and spicy stews.
