Domaine des Garrigues Rouge is made from 40% Grenache, 50% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre. After vinification, the wine is stored in concrete vats for four months that are more than 5 meters underground. Then in wooden barrels of 225 liters for a period of 18 months. Oak barrels from Allier allow the winemaker to refine tannins and develop aromas of vanilla and spices. Bright dark red wine with purple hues, very well concentrated. Rich, elegant nose with pronounced aromas of red fruit (blackcurrant, redcurrant) lightly flavored with vanilla. On the palate: fatty, soft, well-balanced, and generous with persistent flavors. Delicious with wild boar with cherries or slow-cooked leg of lamb.
