Domaine du Gypse, founded in 1753, is a family business that has been producing exceptional wines for generations. Located in the hills of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the vineyard owes its unique character to the special gypsum-rich terroir. This Gigondas, a blend of 60% Grenache, 35% Syrah, and 5% Cinsault, matures for 8 to 10 months in concrete vats. With its deep, intense ruby-red color, the wine offers a powerful bouquet of ripe black fruit, spices, garrigue, and a hint of licorice. The structure is beautifully balanced, with fine, silky tannins and a long, mineral finish. Ideal with rack of lamb and Mediterranean vegetables, fresh pasta with truffles, or Parmigiana. Serving temperature: 16°C. Can be enjoyed now or cellared for 8-10 years.
