Very expressive and lively. The aroma opens with notes of citrus fruit (lemon zest, grapefruit), white peach, and ripe pear. Beneath this lies a mineral tone (wet stone, chalk), which is characteristic of the name “Cantera” (quarry). Subtle floral accents of acacia and chamomile add extra refinement.
Fresh and crisp on the palate, with a vibrant acidity that stands out immediately. The wine displays a beautiful interplay of ripe white fruit and salty, mineral notes. Elegant and well-structured in the mouth, with a pure, dry finish and a slight saline tension that makes it particularly gastronomic.
Perfect with shellfish, ceviche, goat cheese, sushi, or light Mediterranean dishes with lemon and olive oil.
Made from Mauzac, Loin de L'oeil, Petit Courbu, Colombard, Gros Manseng.
