The name Les Evangiles comes from a small vineyard in the middle of the estate. It is situated slightly higher than the rest of the vineyards, resulting in a special micro-climate. The yield of 24 hectoliters per hectare is small, but the quality of the grapes is excellent. Les Evangiles is a full-bodied round wine with a generous fruity taste of blackcurrants and blackberries and a hint of tobacco, mocha, and vanilla. The wine has a rich structure and velvety tannins. Due to the full structure and tannins, the wine can age for many years. However, if you wish to drink the wine earlier, we recommend decanting it in a carafe. This will give it some air, which will optimally develop its aromas.
