Thanks to the special climatic conditions, particularly the large temperature changes between day and night due to the cold wind coming from Monte Rosa, the grape develops aromatic properties. The clay soil and the western exposure of the hills of Ghemme create a unique wine known for its richness and fullness through the centuries. Made from 90% nebbiolo and 10% vespolina, aged for a minimum of three years in French oak and at least six more months in the bottle. Delicate in taste with soft tannins, violets, and licorice. Delicious with red meat, game, stewed beef, and spicy cheeses.
