Penfolds is one of the oldest and most well-known wineries in Australia, founded in 1844 by Dr. Christopher and Mary Penfold. They planted grapevines from France there that now rank among the oldest in the world. Thanks to Max Schubert and his experiments with aging wines, Penfolds became known worldwide with, among others, Grange and the 'Bin' series.
