This wine comes from Columbia Valley, just above Napa Valley. This powerful chardonnay lingers for a while. The partial maturation in wood is reflected in the taste of the wine. This chardonnay is not too heavy and contains fresh acids. Because this wine is somewhat firmer, it can be nicely paired with, for example, fish and a somewhat richer sauce. Think of cod with a butter sauce with lime, but it can also form a nice combination with thinly sliced lamb.
