Made from Sangiovese, grown in purity, carefully selected during the harvest, with a maximum yield of about 50 tons of grapes per hectare. The natural fermentation lasts on average about 15/20 days, followed by a period of six months in stainless steel tanks and then aged in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 36 months. This is followed by a period of bottle aging before being marketed. Ruby red color, tending towards garnet with aging. Hints of red berries, warm and dry on the palate, medium structure and good body. Serve at 20°C with red meat, game, roasts, and mature cheeses.
