Astrolabe late harvest chenin blanc

Chenin Blanc produces delicious sweet dessert wines. Dessert wine made from Chenin Blanc is quite rare in New Zealand and is only produced in the best years. The flavors of this Chenin Blanc are perfectly suited to a sweeter style, resulting in a honey-sweet, lush wine that ages well and becomes increasingly interesting over time.

Dried tropical fruit and apricot with subtle notes of toffee apple. Lush richness without being sticky, a pleasant acidity, and delightful stone fruit and citrus flavors.

Already enjoyable to drink now, with the expectation that both flavor and bouquet will develop further with bottle aging. A good wine to cellar for a long time.
