2021 was a predominantly dry wine year (the second driest in the history of Opus One), cooler and without excessive heat. The Cabernet Sauvignon thrived under these conditions and made up an exceptional 93% of the blend. Opus One 2021 exudes enticing aromas of dark fruit. Bright and fresh on the palate, concentrated flavors reflect the aromas and are accompanied by an exceptionally smooth, creamy mid-palate texture thanks to the fine-grained tannins.
