The nose of Solaia 2021 is intensely ruby red in color with violet hues and is remarkably complex: intense notes of small, dark ripe fruit, especially blackcurrants, blackberries, and purple plums, flowing into fresh hints of mint, myrtle, and spicy notes of white pepper. Sweet aromas of powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and licorice are seamlessly integrated. The palate is rich, seductive, and vibrant with an excellent and balanced structure. Silky tannins accompany a long finish, defined by a persistent aftertaste with hints of pure chocolate.
