The Barolo Lirio project was created in response to consumers who are increasingly attentive not only to product quality but also to the entire production process. The vinification style is traditional, but the result is a modern Barolo with a simpler approach, making it easy to pair with any type of cuisine.
The wine matures for a total of 38 months, approximately 18 months in medium-sized Slavonian and French oak barrels, and the remaining time in tanks. It is a wine with great aging potential and loves to mature in the bottle for a long time.
A modern Barolo with a garnet-red color and ruby highlights. The nose is intense, with nuances of faded rose, violet, forest undergrowth, cherries in alcohol, licorice, truffle, and tobacco. It is an elegant, balanced wine with a complex flavor, considerable body, and good acidity. The noble wine par excellence, which continues to develop for at least 20 years after the harvest.
Food pairings
Red meat, stewed dishes and game, aged cheeses. Excellent with the traditional dishes of the Langhe.
