The maturation takes place in medium-sized Slavonian oak barrels for at least 20 months, followed by aging in tanks for a total of 38 months. A wine with a robust structure and noble tannins, it reaches its maturity five years after harvest and has an evolution potential of at least 25 years.
The color is typical for Barolo, ruby red with garnet highlights.
The bouquet is rich and ripe, featuring notes of dried rose, violets, spices, and truffle. The structure is significant, the texture compact. The wine has great initial power, which develops over the years into elegant and sweeter notes, characteristic of noble tannins.
Fantastic with dishes based on red meat and game, cheeses, and dishes with truffle.
