This tawny ages for three years in small wooden barrels of 630 liters. As the port matures in the barrel, it loses its ruby color and slowly changes into the amber color we know from a tawny port. The aromas become richer and more complex, and thanks to the barrels, the port becomes softer and smoother. After the three-year aging process, different wines are blended for a perfect balance and harmony, they are immediately ready to drink. Tempting scents of apricot and plum and undertones of spices and butterscotch. Rich flavors of ripe fruit and jam with a fine acidity. Delicious dessert wine, combines exceptionally well with almonds, berries, or dark chocolate.
