Potato balls with aged cheese and spices

Ingredients

40gCornstarch
1Cinnamon
300gMashed potatoes
1Clove
Pepper and salt
1Egg
2Nutmeg
Chives
100gAged cheese

Preparation

  1. Mix the mashed potatoes with the cornstarch.
  2. Grate the aged cheese and finely chop the chives.
  3. Add the grated aged cheese and spices, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Mix in the egg to make the mixture firmer.
  5. Form balls from the mixture. Tip: you can freeze them and fry later.
  6. Fry at about 180°C for approximately 3 minutes.
  7. Serve with grated aged cheese and chopped chives.
