Cinnamon powder
Preparation
- Drain the cherries in a sieve and collect the syrup.
- Pat the cherries dry.
- Let the Viennese dough thaw.
- Knead a little cinnamon powder into the dough to taste.
- Roll out the dough and cut small slices from it.
- Place an Amarena cherry inside.
- Fold the dough around the Amarena cherry and roll into a ball.
- Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes.
- Whip the cream until soft peaks with some of the leftover syrup. Serve this with the cookies.
