
Puff pastry sticks with cresson
This recipe comes from Sint-Lucie, the largest watercress company in Belgium. This dish is easy to prepare, but looks fantastic thanks to the cresson!Ingredients
Egg yolk
watercress leaves
2sheets of puff pastry
Preparation
- Brush 1 sheet of puff pastry with egg yolk. Spread the cresson over the puff pastry and place a second sheet of puff pastry on top. Roll out the puff pastry thinly with a rolling pin.
- Cut the puff pastry into strips and twist each strip into a spiral. Brush the spirals with egg yolk and bake at 180°C.
- Serve the sticks with a suitable dipping sauce.
