Puff pastry sticks with cresson

This recipe comes from Sint-Lucie, the largest watercress company in Belgium. This dish is easy to prepare, but looks fantastic thanks to the cresson!

Ingredients

Egg yolk
watercress leaves
2sheets of puff pastry

Preparation

  1. Brush 1 sheet of puff pastry with egg yolk. Spread the cresson over the puff pastry and place a second sheet of puff pastry on top. Roll out the puff pastry thinly with a rolling pin.
  2. Cut the puff pastry into strips and twist each strip into a spiral. Brush the spirals with egg yolk and bake at 180°C.
  3. Serve the sticks with a suitable dipping sauce.
