
Crispy chicken toastie
Combine luxurious flavors and turn a simple toastie into a surprising lunch dish.Ingredients
Cumin
Sauerkraut
Savora mustard
Brown soft sugar
slices of young matured cheese
white sourdough floor bread
breaded chicken tenders
Butter
Preparation
- Slice the bread.
- Rinse the sauerkraut in plenty of water.
- Melt some butter with a little brown sugar and cumin to taste.
- When the sugar has dissolved, add the squeezed sauerkraut and stew well.
- Spread two slices of bread with Savora mustard.
- Top one slice with the sautéed sauerkraut.
- Fry the chicken tenders until crispy (use two per toastie) and place them on the sauerkraut.
- Add a slice of cheese, place the second slice of bread on top, and toast in a sandwich press until crispy and warm.
