Crispy smoked salmon ‘Poke Balls’

Fried 'Poke Balls' of sushi rice and salmon served with piccalilli sauce.

Ingredients

200gSushi rice
Rice vinegar
Salt
Sugar
Smoked salmon
Cucumber
Nori sheets
panko breadcrumbs
Saus.Guru's Smooth Piccalilly

Preparation

Step 1

  1. Cook the sushi rice as indicated on the packaging.
  2. Place some sushi rice on a mat and put some salmon, nori, and cucumber in the center of the rice.
  3. Cover this with a bit more rice and shape it into a ball.
  4. Roll the ball in the panko breadcrumbs and deep-fry in hot oil for 6 minutes, until golden brown.
  5. Serve with Saus.Guru's Smooth Piccalilly.
