Edamame Japanese style

Stir-fried in sesame oil.

Ingredients

edamame (green soybeans)
Sesame oil
ponzu dressing
sesame powder with spices
Soy sauce

Preparation

  1. Cook the edamame until just tender in water. Rinse immediately with cold water.
  2. Briefly stir-fry the beans in a little sesame oil before serving. Deglaze immediately with a little soy sauce and ponzu.
  3. Remove from the pan, mix in a bit of sesame powder and serve as a small bite at the table.
