
Fried squid rings

The subtle bitterness of the St. Idesbald Amber balances the flavor of the fried crust, after which full attention goes to the soft, rounded taste of the squid itself.

Salt
olive oil for frying or deep-frying
Preparation
- Clean the squid, rinse, and cut into rings. Let drain and pat dry with a cloth.
- Salt the squid rings and dredge them in flour. Shake off any excess flour before frying.
- Fry or sauté the rings in hot oil. Stir well a few times. Serve warm with lemon wedges.
