Vegetable (spaghetti) Pakora

Pakora is a spicy, crispy snack from India, made from chickpea flour, rice flour, and finely chopped vegetables such as carrot.Delicious for dipping in a fresh yogurt-coriander sauce with ginger syrup.

Ingredients

Water
6chickpea flour
Salt and pepper
Garam masala
Thinly sliced vegetables, for example carrot
3Rice flour

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients into a nice batter (yogurt consistency).
  2. Form into flat parcels and lower them into hot oil at 180°C.
  3. Fry until crispy and salt afterwards.
  4. Sauce tip: Mix full-fat yogurt with fresh coriander and ginger syrup to taste.
