Vanilla ice cream in the shape of a ‘chicken drumstick’ with a lemon wafer roll and coated with corn flakes.Served in a 'bucket' and with both a sweet and salted caramel topping as a dipping sauce.
Ingredients
Vanilla ice cream
Lemon wafer rolls
Corn flakes
Yopop (optional)
Salted caramel topping
Preparation
- Scoop two balls of (vanilla) ice cream onto a piece of butcher's foil.
- Place a lemon wafer roll on top of the ice cream balls and then a small scoop of ice cream on top of that.
- Carefully fold the butcher's foil closed and shape the whole into a 'drumstick' shape. Then place it in the freezer.
- Crush corn flakes by hand to a finer texture.
- Optional: mix the crushed cornflakes with yopop, a crispy yogurt with popping sugar, for an extra dimension to the coating.
- Take the 'drumsticks' out of the freezer and roll them through the cornflake mixture so they are well coated.
- Place the 'drumsticks' back in the freezer.
- Serve in a 'bucket' with a sweet dipping sauce, such as salted caramel topping.
