Kara-age & Tonkatsu

Kara-age is a Japanese cooking technique in which various types of food—usually chicken, but also other meats and fish—are deep-fried in oil.

Ingredients

tonkatsu
Furikake
Karaage

Preparation

  1. Deep-fry or bake the kara-age chicken pieces at high temperature until crispy.
  2. Dip them into the tonkatsu sauce using a satay skewer.
  3. Generously sprinkle with furikake.
