Saganaki

Breaded and fried feta, known as Saganaki, is a classic Greek preparation.The feta is breaded and then fried in oil until golden brown. Topped with honey and sesame seeds.

Breadcrumbs

Sesame seeds
Whole milk
Honey

Preparation

  1. Cut the feta to the desired size with a warm knife to prevent breaking.
  2. Freeze the feta slightly.
  3. Beat the eggs with a little milk.
  4. Dip the feta in the egg mixture and then in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Pan-fry the feta on all sides and garnish with honey and sesame seeds.
