Mushi gyoza don

Steamed gyoza served on sushi rice, topped with sliced daikon, nori, and ikura.

Ingredients

daikon
Salt
Rice vinegar
Sushi rice
gyoza pork
nori
ikura

Preparation

  1. Cut the daikon into thin strips and place them in salt for several hours. Then rinse with water and season with rice vinegar.
  2. Cook the sushi rice as indicated on the package.
  3. Steam the gyoza in a steamer basket over a pan or in the steamer. Frozen for about 10 minutes, thawed for about 5 minutes.
  4. Spoon the sushi rice onto a plate, add some daikon, and then the gyoza.
  5. Serve with some thinly sliced nori and ikura (harinori).
