Padrónpoppers

Pimientos de Padrón filled with herbed cream cheese and wrapped in prosciutto.

Ingredients

Salt
Prosciutto crudo
Herb cream cheese
150gPimientos de Padrón

Preparation

  1. Roast the Padrón peppers on the barbecue.
  2. Sprinkle with a little salt while roasting.
  3. Cut off the tops of the peppers and remove the seeds.
  4. Fill the peppers with herbed cream cheese using a piping bag.
  5. Wrap each pepper in a slice of prosciutto.
  6. Briefly grill on the barbecue until the ham is lightly colored but the cheese does not fully melt.
