A playful twist on the standard sandwich! We bake this in a special ‘disc’ bun toaster, which seals the bread into a ‘disc’.

The surprise (cheesy pulled pork) is then enclosed in the bread. How fun is that?

Bun toaster

Brioche bun

Pulled pork

Preparation

Briefly heat the pulled pork on both sides in the pan.
Let the toaster get thoroughly hot.
Portion the cole slaw, warm pulled pork, and grated Gruyère cheese in the center of the bun, for example with an ice cream scoop.
Place the top on the bun and toast in the iron (2x setting 14).
