Vitello sandwich

A real Italian sandwich

Ingredients

Caesar dressing
vitello tonnato
Cornichons
Sandwich delight
tuna in oil
Capers
sourdough
Parmesan cheese
Rocket
Basil

Preparation

  1. Spread a thick slice of white sourdough bread with Sandwich delight.
  2. Make a tuna sauce to taste (using a food processor) from: Caesar dressing, tuna, grated Parmesan cheese, and fresh basil leaves.
  3. Generously top the bread with vitello (veal), fresh arugula, Parmesan cheese, capers, and cornichons. Finish with freshly ground pepper, the tuna sauce, and some grated lime zest.
