
Tagliatelle with plant-based meatballs and tomato sauce
A delicious, classic pasta dish in a plant-based version. The vegan meatballs provide a wonderful bite and are also nice and nutritious.This recipe is for approximately 2 people.
Ingredients
180gvegan meatballs
200gtagliatelle
500gDiced tomatoes
2units.itemsShallots
20gchopped parsley
vegetable oil or plant-based butter
Pepper
Salt
Fresh basil
Valderrama olive oil
Preparation
- Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the vegan meatballs and cook them through in about 10 minutes.
- Finely chop the shallots.
- Remove the meatballs from the pan and add the shallots. Sauté them gently.
- Spoon the diced tomatoes onto the shallots and bring everything to a boil.
- Puree the tomato sauce with a hand blender and season with salt and pepper.
- Put the vegan meatballs in the tomato sauce and heat over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Cook the tagliatelle according to the packaging.
- Serve the tagliatelle and vegan meatballs with tomato sauce on a plate.
- Finely chop some fresh basil and sprinkle over the dish.
- Finally, drizzle some Valderrama olive oil over the dish.
