
Onion rings filled with mozzarella
Onion rings are always good, but the mozzarella makes them extra creamy.Ingredients
Spanish onions
mozzarella (stick)
1Egg
nacho cheese tortilla chips
Panko
Preparation
- Clean the onions and cut them into thick slices.
- Carefully press the rings out of the onion.
- Cut the mozzarella (stick) into slices and then into strips.
- Take one ring, place a second ring inside it, leaving space between the two rings. Place the mozzarella in this space. Freeze.
- Beat the egg with a little salt.
- Grind the panko in the food processor. Tip: replace the panko with nacho cheese tortilla chips.
- Dip the frozen onion in the egg, coat well in the panko, and fry until crispy.
