
Croissant muffins with ham & cheese
A croissant, a muffin, or preferably both? For these croissant muffins, it is convenient to use ‘laminated yeast dough sheets’ or croissant dough.Ingredients
Laminated leavened dough sheets
young matured cheese
Croissant dough
Pizza sauce basil
Raw ham
Herb butter
Muffin baking mold
Preparation
- Let the dough come to room temperature, roll it out, and preferably let it rest for two hours under a cloth.
- Cut into rectangles (about 20 x 30 cm) and spread with pizza sauce, place slices of young matured cheese and raw ham on top, roll up along the long side, cut in half, roll up, and place in muffin tins.
- Bake at 170°C in the oven (with 20% steam) until cooked and brown.
- Then brush with herb butter.
