
Mulled wine with Tempranillo
A spicy mulled wine with robust Tempranillo, cinnamon, orange, lemon, and star anise. Delicious to make yourself!Warm spices, they not only add flavor and aroma to your creations, but also provide depth. You could call them the heart of the kitchen. In the winter months, and especially in December, we seek warmth in our dishes and reach for our spice drawer, and they return in our recipes.
Ingredients
3Cardamom pods
Sugar to taste
3Star anise
5Clove
1Lemon
2lTempranillo
2Oranges
3Cinnamon sticks
Preparation
- Peel the oranges and the lemon. Reserve some peels as garnish for the glass.
- Heat the wine in a pan, but do not let it boil.
- Slice the lemon and add to the wine.
- Then add the spices.
- Squeeze the oranges and pour the juice into the warm wine.
- Season with sugar.
- Let the mixture infuse gently for about 30 minutes with the lid on the pan.
