2hoisin sauce
1Hertog Jan bock beer
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, make a marinade of oil, beer, freshly pressed garlic, and hoisin sauce.
- Stir the ingredients well or blend with an immersion blender.
- Marinate the skinned chicken drumsticks in the marinade for 3 to 4 hours, turning occasionally.
- Pat the chicken drumsticks dry after marinating and grill them in a grill pan, under a hot grill, or on the barbecue.
- If desired, finish cooking in a preheated oven until evenly golden brown.
- After grilling or cooking, lightly brush with the remaining marinade and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve with strips of ciabatta or baguette and a well-chilled glass of Hertog Jan Bockbier.
