Chicken drumsticks with Hertog Jan Bockbier

Hertog Jan Bockbier with its notes of caramel and rich creamy aromas pairs perfectly with these chicken drumsticks.Ingredients for 4 people.

Ingredients

1units.itemsgarlic clove
4olive or sunflower oil
Salt
Pepper
4units.itemsskinned chicken drumsticks
2hoisin sauce
1Hertog Jan bock beer

Preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl, make a marinade of oil, beer, freshly pressed garlic, and hoisin sauce.
  2. Stir the ingredients well or blend with an immersion blender.
  3. Marinate the skinned chicken drumsticks in the marinade for 3 to 4 hours, turning occasionally.
  4. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry after marinating and grill them in a grill pan, under a hot grill, or on the barbecue.
  5. If desired, finish cooking in a preheated oven until evenly golden brown.
  6. After grilling or cooking, lightly brush with the remaining marinade and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve with strips of ciabatta or baguette and a well-chilled glass of Hertog Jan Bockbier.
