
Neapolitan pizza
This recipe is for four round pizzas or two square sheet pan pizzas.Ingredients
290mlWarm water
500gLa Napoletana flour
10ginstant yeast (or 30 grams baker's yeast)
12gSalt
8gSugar
Preparation
- Mix the flour, salt, and sugar together. Dissolve the yeast in warm water and add to the mixture.
- Knead until the dough comes together, divide it, and let it rest covered with a damp cloth for about 3 hours, or until the dough has doubled in size.
- Spread the pizza dough into the desired shape.
- Add the toppings and bake the pizza for about 12-15 minutes at a minimum of 250°C. Baking time may vary depending on the oven.
