Neapolitan pizza

This recipe is for four round pizzas or two square sheet pan pizzas.

Ingredients

290mlWarm water
500gLa Napoletana flour
10ginstant yeast (or 30 grams baker's yeast)
12gSalt
8gSugar

Preparation

  1. Mix the flour, salt, and sugar together. Dissolve the yeast in warm water and add to the mixture.
  2. Knead until the dough comes together, divide it, and let it rest covered with a damp cloth for about 3 hours, or until the dough has doubled in size.
  3. Spread the pizza dough into the desired shape.
  4. Add the toppings and bake the pizza for about 12-15 minutes at a minimum of 250°C. Baking time may vary depending on the oven.
