Seaweed sponge cake

Tasty savory cakes from the microwave.

Ingredients

100gAlmond powder
40gDextrose
300gPasteurized egg white
20gFlour
3nori sheet
Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. In a food processor, mix 100 grams almond powder, 40 grams dextrose, 20 grams flour, 3 sheets of nori.
  2. Blend everything into a fine powder and add 300 grams pasteurized egg white (while blending).
  3. Strain through a sieve and add salt to taste.
  4. Transfer to a siphon, insert two cartridges, and let set in the fridge for a few hours.
  5. Score cardboard (coffee) cups and fill them halfway with the mixture.
  6. Bake for about 35 seconds at 1000 watts in the microwave.
  7. Let the cups cool on their sides before removing the cakes.
