Teriyaki Noodles

Pulled Oats® or the plant-based alternative to meat. This meat substitute is made from just five ingredients (!): oats, fava beans, peas, and a bit of oil and salt.

The product has a nice bite and a neutral flavor; this allows every chef to add their own twist! This versatile meat substitute is delicious both cold and hot, for example in wraps, as an addition to a burrito bowl, for making a vegetarian Bolognese sauce, or great for stir-frying!

Ingredients

1500gCarrot
1500gbroccoli florets
1500gPulled Oats
500mlTeriyaki sauce
5units.kilogram/molNoodles
3units.bunchCoriander
100gSesame seeds
750gBean sprouts
5Chili pepper
5Limes
Sesame oil

Preparation

  1. Grate the ginger finely, press the garlic, and slice the carrot.
  2. Blanch the broccoli florets.
  3. Heat the sesame oil in a casserole and add the ginger, garlic, carrot, and broccoli florets, and sauté for 3 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  4. Add the Pulled Oats and teriyaki sauce and cook for another 2 minutes. Keep stirring.
  5. Cook the noodles until done and add them to the casserole.
  6. Finely chop the coriander, toast the sesame seeds, and slice the chili pepper and lime into thin slices.
  7. Garnish with bean sprouts, coriander, sesame seeds, and a slice of lime. Add the red chili pepper for an extra kick.
