French toast with cinnamon ice cream

A French toast made from sugar bread, served with cinnamon ice cream.

Inspired by the 'brioche con gelato' from Sicily, 'ice on the bun' is the trend for this summer.

Ingredients

Sugar bread
200mlMilk
Egg
Cinnamon
Sugar
Cinnamon ice cream
speculoos topping
speculoos crumble
Whipped cream

Preparation

Step 1

  1. Slice the sugar bread.
  2. Mix the milk with the egg and cinnamon and sugar to taste.
  3. Dip the slices in the mixture and fry in butter in a pan.
  4. Scoop a ball of cinnamon ice cream on top.
  5. Pipe the Speculoos topping over it and garnish with Speculoos crumble and whipped cream.
